Mission Statement: Vintage Fitness strives to help each and every client achieve their personal fitness and health goals by providing each client with the right workout routine that fits their body and lifestyle.

Vintage Fitness uses the functional training method of weight training.

Definition of Functional Training:
Functional training is a classification of exercise which involves training the body for the activities performed in daily life. Functional training has its origins in rehabilitation. Physical and Occupational therapists and Chiropractors often use this approach to retrain patients with movement disorders.

A Post rehabilitation Exercise Specialist goal is to correct the imperfections of how a person approaches their workout routine. We look at every movement during the lift and correct anything that needs to be corrected. Such as posture, balance and imbalances between left and right side strength.

Our fitness area (see below pictures of fitness area)  is a private one on one training studio for each client to get the individual attention that each needs to accomplish their fitness goals. We do not use machines in this facility. We use your weight and body as well as bands, dumbbells and other functional equipment to get you to your goal.

Vintage Fitness believes in Flexibility training at the end of each session. Each client will be taken through a stretch routine that will allow all the muscles to recover from the workout that was completed.

Definition of Flexibility:
Flexibility is defined as “the range of motion of a given joint or group of joints or the level of tissue extensibility that a muscle group possesses.” That means that each joint and each group of muscles in your body might have a different range of motion (ROM) or a different level of flexibility.

Fitness equipment in fitness area is as follows: weight rack of up to 25 pound dumbbells 30 lbs to 45 coming soon, fitness resistance balls, Precor elliptical trainer as well as the Precor stretch machine. Also have mats and other functional training tools to balance boards and many more to accomplish your goals.
